Safe Harbor Wealth Management is proud to serve as a Gold Sponsor of the 10th Annual Ocean County Business Association Charity Golf Classic. This event benefits CAREing for Children, a nonprofit dedicated to local children and families in need. We believe strong communities are built through generosity, not just financial planning.
Event Details
When and Where – The Marty Aronow Charity Golf Classic takes place on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. The event is held at LBI National Golf and Resort in Little Egg Harbor Township. It is presented by the Ocean County Business Association, with net proceeds benefiting CAREing for Children.
Schedule for the Day – The day includes registration, a boxed lunch, an afternoon scramble, and an evening dinner with awards.
- 11:30 am: Registration and networking
- 12:00 pm: Boxed lunch
- 1:00 pm: Shotgun start, scramble format
- 6:00 pm: Dinner and awards
Golfers can expect driving range access, course contests, and team prizes throughout the day. Proper golf attire is required.
How to Register – Registration is open for individual golfers, foursomes, and dinner-only guests. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for local businesses who want to support the cause.
- Foursome: 900 dollars, includes lunch, dinner, and a tee sign
- Single golfer: 200 dollars, includes lunch and dinner
- Dinner only: 100 dollars, includes the awards banquet
- Sponsorship levels range from Tee Box Sponsor to Diamond Sponsor

A Decade of Giving Back
CAREing for Children is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to children and families in need. The group works to brighten the lives of the most vulnerable members of the local community. One hundred percent of donations go directly toward that mission.
The organization traces its roots to the late 1980s. Members of the Ocean County Business Association, known as OCBA, began collecting toys at a holiday party. That single toy drive grew into food drives, school supply campaigns, and this signature golf outing.
Much of that growth is thanks to the late Clare Bojus. Her tireless leadership shaped the organization for years and expanded its reach into new areas of need. In 2019, golf committee chair Mike Reilly helped raise more funds than the event had ever seen. Clare and Mike are no longer with us, but their legacy lives on through every backpack delivered and every family helped.
Today, OCBA continues to present the golf classic each year. Net proceeds benefit CAREing for Children and the families it serves.
A Local, No-Overhead Model
CAREing for Children operates entirely through volunteers. There is no paid staff and no administrative overhead. Every dollar raised goes toward gifts, food, and supplies for local families.
To date, the organization has raised more than 160,000 dollars. Funds have supported partners including Providence House, Faith Community Church Food Pantry, the Salvation Army, and St. Joseph’s Church Food Pantry, along with many others. In August 2024, supporters helped fill and distribute 100 fully stocked backpacks for children heading back to school. That same spirit of generosity carries into this year’s golf classic.
